XMAS Eve: MN’s Gov. Walz receives a massive pile of coal delvered at Residence in Saint Paul, MN.

Governor Tim Walz, aka #TarSandsTim, has been naughty this year. So naughty, that Santa had to make a special trip on the day of Xmas eve with a sleigh full of coal, and a hand-crafted stocking large enough to fit the immense quantity of coal warranted by the naughty list.

The stocking, and coal, was too large for Santa’s chimney delivery and was left in front of his mansion.

Instead of using his platform and leadership to steer Minnesota in a direction away from expanding fossil fuel infrastructure & extraction, he has thus far been complicit in doing the exact opposite: approving all permits to allow a foreign corporation to build a pipeline across the North Woods of Minnesota, the headwaters of the Mississippi, the wild rice lakes of our indigenous relatives and through the treaty territories where sovereign nations have repeatedly demanded the pipeline not be built.
