Let’s Get Winter Clothing & Supplies to Children on Fond Du Lac!
Winter 2020 is here, especially in North Country! An amazing gear drive has been organized by the Twin Cities Logistics Collective in collaboration with Gitchigumi Scouts, an indigenous led coalition based in the Twin Ports (Duluth/Superior) which patrols & searches for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women & Relatives while engaging in harm reduction practices to minimize the numbers of MMIWR. Full Press release via TC Logistics Collective is below:
In collaboration with Gitchigumi Scouts, Twin Cities Logistics Collective is currently hosting a gear drive for the children of Fond du Lac in preparation for winter.
As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on, and with climate chaos at the door, mutual aid is critical. As winter approaches the stolen lands we call Minnesota, we are asking our communities to donate and spread the word about this call to stand in solidarity with the children of Fond du Lac.
Items can be dropped off Thursdays 6-8pm and Fridays 4-6pm, at Walker Church (3104 16th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN). If these times don’t work for you, please email email@example.com to arrange an alternative time.
Unable to support the gear drive in person? You can donate to the gear drive online, or mail a check to: Twin Cities Logistics Collective, PO Box 7174, Minneapolis, MN 55407. *Checks should be made out to: TC Logistics.
